When the head of the Weston family goes missing one sweltering Oklahoma summer, his three daughters come home to the family house and to their sharp-tongued, pill-popping mother, Violet. Old secrets surface and long-held grudges boil over in this blackly funny, ferocious family drama, winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
