LONG GOWN LONESOME COWGIRLS is a “feel good” – sad but hilarious – two-hander set in a tiny, far outback Queensland town in the late 1960s about an unlikely friendship between two young women of wildly differing temperaments, united in their abandonment by the men in their lives and their passion for country and western music. The play features a live band and great country and western classics, sung by the two women as they traverse their rocky paths to happiness.
